
Anne-Marie Curran
Chief Executive
Appointed Managing Director of Drury in June 2010, Anne-Marie has over 20 years’ experience in the public relations industry. Anne-Marie combines her management role with strategic client support across a range of corporates, multinational and public sector clients, not-for-profits and publicly quoted companies. She specialises in strategic counsel, reputation management, change management, employer brand, leading campaigns and partnerships’, achieving thought leadership through strategic media relations, targeted digital and social media engagement, and has extensive crisis management experience.
Anne-Marie is a graduate of University College Dublin (U.C.D) with a B.A. International in French and German. She subsequently obtained an MA in Public Relations, has studied law at the Honourable Society of King’s Inns and is a qualified executive and business coach. She recently completed diplomas in Corporate Governance with the Institute of Directors and in Digital Marketing strategy with the Marketing Institute. She is currently studying Cyber Psychology.
Anne-Marie serves on the boards of the Coombe Women & Infants University Hospital, the Gate Theatre, and the advisory council of the RDI Hub. She is a former trustee of the Irish Heritage Trust and board member of the Dublin International Film Festival. Anne-Marie was the Runner-up in the CEO category of the Image Businesswoman of the Year Awards 2016. She is a Fellow of the Public Relations Institute of Ireland.

Billy Murphy
Chair
Billy Murphy co-founded Drury Communications in 1989 and has been Executive Chairman of the business since 2004.
Billy is one of Ireland’s foremost communications consultants specialising in C-Suite counsel, financial situations, business & society, litigation and crisis management.
Over 30 years, he has advised management of Ireland’s leading companies and organisations across the development, protection and enhancement of corporate reputation, offering solutions to the communications’ challenges they face.
He has worked on an extensive range of capital market activities including IPOs, transactions, restructurings, activism and a variety of corporate litigation projects. He has been pivotally involved in supporting organisations through complex or critical scenarios. Together with his Drury colleagues, he has an exceptional network of working relationships with other Irish and international professional services firms and corporate advisors.
In a fast-evolving world, where digital connectivity is firmly embedded and the premium on timely judgement is greater than ever before, the right mix of experience and expertise is essential.
In recent years, Billy has advised the boards and senior management teams of: CRH plc, Flutter Entertainment plc, Greencore plc, Cairn Homes plc, Green REIT plc, Mediahuis, Outsourcing Inc. Bain Capital, Doyle Hotels (Holdings) Group, KKR, Openet, PM Group, Activate Capital, MML Capital Ireland, Crownway Investments and Balmoral International Land Holdings.
Billy is Chairman of Leinster Rugby’s Commercial & Marketing Committee and a member of the Leinster Management Board. He is a Fellow of the Public Relations Institute of Ireland.

Breena Cooper
Creative Director
Breena is Creative Director working across the agency responsible for building a strong creative ethos both culturally and structurally. She has worked in the communications sector for over 18 years and worked on many award-winning integrated campaigns, created and implemented comprehensive PR and digital strategies for a variety of clients within the Lifestyle, Beauty, Healthcare, Consumer and FMCG sectors.
Her role means she spends much of her time working across agency teams on multiple key clients to ensure best in class creative and strategic solutions are provided. Breena has a flair for storytelling and a passion for clever and original ideas, so is heavily involved in content creation and campaign ideation.
Breena works with a variety of clients including the Beiersdorf, NIVEA, Eucerin, Irish Life, RSA, Grunenthal and National Gallery of Ireland. She is a Non-Executive Board Member of the Dublin Well Woman Centre and holds a BBS Marketing & Languages as well as a diploma in Digital Marketing and recently graduated with a Diploma in Creativity, Innovation and Leadership at UCD.

Caoilinn Putti
Client Executive
Caoilinn joined the Drury team in November 2021. Since then, she has displayed a strong understanding of the media and political landscape in Ireland, strategic thinking, and media relations skills. Caoilinn has strong presentation and written communication skills, and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
Prior to joining the Drury team, she worked as a Communications Assistant at The University of St. Andrews, Scotland. She has experience across a number of industries including the charitable and voluntary sector, higher education, and in a start-up environment.
Caoilinn holds a Masters in Strategic Public Relations and Communication Management from the University of Stirling and a BA in Economic and Social Studies from Trinity College, Dublin.

Cathy Cullen
Digital Director
Cathy joined Drury in January 2022. She has over a decade of experience in content, campaign, and digital strategy.
Prior to Drury, she most recently led the digital strategy for corporate communications and campaigns at Sky. This included responsibility for the corporate website, social channels, and CEO and Senior Leadership digital comms. In previous roles at Sky, she also lead digital strategy for consumer and content channels as Campaigns Controller.
Cathy works with clients to advise on a variety of digital strategies to provide maximum impact; including executive comms, integrated campaigns, content marketing, and targeted paid social. She takes a creative approach to digital platforms to ensure the right message meets the right audience at the right time.
Cathy has a BA from UCC, and an MA in Communications from DCU. She is on the board of directors for the Cork International Film Festival. In her spare time, she hosts and produces an award-winning and critically acclaimed film podcast, The Cinemile.

Ciara Flood
Executive Assistant
Ciara Flood joined Drury as Executive PA to the Managing Director
Her degree brought her to AIB for 15 years where she covered numerous roles in Human Resources before moving on to support the CFO and CEO. From there she moved to Paddy Power to support the CFO & Chairman there. Her knowledge and experience in these areas are an asset to Drury.
Ciara is a graduate of National College of Ireland where she studied Human Resources Management and Industrial Relations and also holds a diploma in Business Management from Dublin Institute of Technology.

Cian O’Doherty
Client Manager
Cian is a Client Manager at Drury where he works with a range of clients across both private and public sectors, helping them to protect and enhance their corporate reputation through effective media relations, information PR and issues management. Cian currently advises clients including Musgrave Group, the Road Safety Authority, CRH plc, UPS, and Tourism Ireland. Working with clients across varied sectors has allowed Cian to develop strong relationships with media in key publications.
A goal-orientated communications consultant, Cian specialises in media relations and strategic issues management where he uses his experience with media engagement to help his clients achieve the stated outcomes of their communications campaigns.
Cian recently completed a diploma in Public Relations with the Public Relations Institute of Ireland. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Dublin City University and a previous qualification in journalism.

Claire Fox
Senior Client Executive
Since joining Drury in April 2021 as a Senior Client Executive, Claire has displayed a proven track record of building strong working relationships and excellent knowledge of media relations and digital communications. Claire has excellent written communication and social media skills following her background as a journalist at the Irish Independent where she worked as an agriculture and rural affairs journalist for three years.
Claire works collaboratively with a range of clients including Road Safety Authority, Kepak, Enterprise Ireland, Love Irish Food and Amazon Web Services using her in-depth knowledge of the media landscape in Ireland to deliver traditional media and digital engagement campaigns to amplify the client story.
Claire graduated with an MA in Journalism from Dublin City University in 2017. She also holds a BA in English and French from University College Cork. Claire is currently completing a Professional Diploma in PR and Social Media from Fitzwilliam Institute. Claire was nominated for the Rising Star Award at the 2020 AgriGuild PR and Journalism Awards.

Claire Rowley
Client Director
Claire is a Client Director at Drury and holds experience in corporate reputation, public information PR, financial PR, and issues management. She advises a variety of public and private sector clients including Road Safety Authority, Science Foundation Ireland, Tourism Ireland, Musgrave Group, Irish Life, UPS, CRH plc and Cairn Homes,. She is a results-driven PR practitioner with a strong focus on media and client relationships. Working with a wide variety of clients has allowed her to develop strong relationships with key business, consumer affairs and news media.
Claire brings strategic thinking and insights to her work to deliver impactful communications campaigns and advises clients on best practice approaches to public relations. As well as fulfilling a press office function for many clients.
Claire has a proven track record in devising and implementing strategic reputation management programmes for clients. She has a strong understanding of how to engage media and consumers to support the delivery of effective communications campaigns.
She collaborates closely with both the client and the wider Drury team to plan communications activity, roll out client campaigns, secure media coverage and monitor campaign activity. She has experience helping clients tell their story across channels including creating engaging content for digital and social channels. In addition, Claire assists companies in managing their online reputational challenges beyond traditional media.
Claire joined Drury in 2016 upon completion of an MA in Public Relations from Dublin Institute of Technology. Most recently she completed a Graduate Certification in Business Management from Dublin City University. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Contemporary Culture and Society from Dublin City University.

Danielle Martin
Director
Danielle joined Drury Porter Novelli in 2019 as an Associate Director on our public affairs team having previously worked as a public affairs consultant. She was appointed Director in 2021.
She specialises in public affairs and corporate communications, developing strategic public affairs and communications campaigns for clients across the health, energy, technology and the not for profit sectors.
Danielle works with clients to support them deliver their message across all channels including creating engaging content for digital and social channels. She advises clients on managing their online reputation and presence beyond traditional media.
Danielle has vast experience in political and regulatory affairs having spent a number of years working as a Political Advisor for Sinn Féin in Leinster House with a focus on equality and justice issues and as a Policy Advisor to the representative body for charities in Ireland.
She holds a Degree in Politics and a Masters in Law from Queen’s University Belfast.

Declan Jackson
Director
With two decades experience in political management and public affairs, Declan Jackson is an experienced leader and influencer across a range of high profile and diverse sectors including FMCG and Financial Services. He designs and implements campaigns which allow clients to engage with policy makers, regulatory supervisors, journalists, consumer groups and civil servants in Ireland and throughout Europe. He provides clients with insights which provide them with the tools to plan for a constantly changing political and regulatory environment.
Prior to joining Drury Declan led a number of projects which resulted in legislation being enacted which supported the business goals of his member companies. Declan has extensive communications experience both acting as an industry spokesperson on broadcast channels and briefing journalists. Over the last ten years he has represented Irish industry in a number of European organisations. A key feature of these roles was ensuring that the Irish Industrial and Governmental positions were aligned.
Declan holds an MBA from the UCD Smurfit Business School and PhD in Media History from the University of Limerick. In his spare time he continues to research electoral history.

Erin Fox
Senior Client Executive
With experience and qualifications in journalism and digital marketing, Erin is passionate about telling businesses’ stories across multiple platforms. Prior to joining Drury, Erin worked six years with StoryLab, managing and creating social media campaigns for a range of clients.
Since joining Drury in December 2021, she has been working on clients such as the Road Safety Authority, Science Foundation Ireland, Henkel, Ballygarry Estate, Hotel and Spa, providing support with media relations, social media, and event management.
Erin is currently studying for a Master’s in Social Media Communications with Dublin City University, where she is researching social media’s impact on society, behaviours, habits and identities, its role in the spread of disinformation, and its increasing domination in the media and communications field.
In 2019, she was nominated for the Content Marketing Rising Star Award in the Irish Content Marketing Awards. Erin also holds a BA degree in Journalism from DCU, and a diploma in Digital Marketing from the Digital Marketing Institute.

Deirdre Sheahan
Client Executive
Deirdre joined Drury in January 2022 and currently works on a number of accounts spanning corporate and public affairs clients.
Since joining the team at Drury, Deirdre has displayed a strong understanding of the media and political landscape in Ireland, stakeholder engagement, and media relations.
Prior to joining Drury, Deirdre completed an MSc in Political Communication at the University of Glasgow and was involved in several Green Party policy and communications initiatives. She also holds a BA in European Studies from Trinity College Dublin, and previously completed an internship in the European Parliament.
Deirdre currently works across client accounts that include Amazon Web Services, ESB, Electric Ireland, Fexco, Flutter, Mars, and Wind Energy Ireland.

Gerry Naughton
Director
A native of Dublin, Gerry has a wealth of experience in the public affairs arena, straddling the political and public sector environment. He advises clients on messaging and communications strategies across all channels.
Gerry was Political Director with Fine Gael from 2003 to 2009 where he worked closely with the party leadership and contributed to the party’s political recovery. He retains close contacts across the political spectrum.
During a 20 year career in the civil service he served as an Adviser and Private Secretary to a number of Ministers. Gerry was Director of Government and Media Relations at the Institute of Chartered Accountants from 1997 to 2002 and he was responsible for Communications at PIAB before he joined Drury.
Gerry advises a large number of clients on policy and political issues and developments He also provides strategic advice to clients who want to develop or sharpen their message. He is a highly experienced media trainer and has assisted some of Ireland’s leading figures, from business, the state sector, NGOs and politics to prepare for major interviews.

Grace Cooney
Director
With over eight years’ experience in Public Relations, Grace’s knowledge of the media is extensive – in both traditional and digital. She is an expert in the area of media relations, supporting both proactive media engagement and reactive press office services for a range of clients.
At Drury, Grace has worked with clients including the Road Safety Authority, Musgrave, Enterprise Ireland, Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland, National Gallery of Ireland, Three Ireland, Commission for the Regulation of Utilities, Amazon Web Services and Workhuman. Prior to returning to the business in 2022, Grace held the position of Public Relations Manager at Lidl Ireland and Northern Ireland. While there she was responsible for the development and execution of seasonal consumer campaigns, leadership team media engagement and the day-to-day management of the press office.
Grace has a keen understanding of delivering client’s messages. Through her experience in a variety of sectors, Grace has developed key contacts and relationships with journalists across the Irish media landscape. She is trusted by clients and journalists alike to identify a good news hook and work collaboratively with both sides to tell the client story.
Grace holds a BA in New Media and English from the University of Limerick and a MA in Journalism and Media Communications. She also holds a Certificate in Online Marketing and Digital Strategy from Griffith College Dublin. She recently completed a PRII Certificate in Public Affairs.

Kelly French
Senior Client Manager
Kelly is a Senior Client Manager with Drury and has extensive knowledge of consumer awareness and engagement through her work with clients such as NIVEA, Eucerin, Irish Life, Royal Bank of Canada, Toys ‘R’ Us, and Under Armour. She has worked on numerous, all-encompassing campaigns, that include comprehensive media and influencer relations, digital and social media planning, and event management to ensure market disruption and consumer connection.
Prior to moving to Ireland, Kelly worked for a Toronto-based Public Relations Agency and has experience in the areas of consumer, corporate and financial sectors. Kelly has worked with a range of international brands throughout the Canadian, US and Irish markets, specifically in media relations, influencer management and strategic communications planning.
Kelly holds a BA in Communications and Political Science from McMaster University as well as a Certificate in Public Relations from Humber College.

Laura Donnelly
Senior Digital Executive
Laura Donnelly joined Drury from Guaranteed Irish in our newly created role of Senior Digital Executive, in April 2022.
Laura brings a wealth of experience to Drury to add to our expanding digital team including managing and monitoring paid social ad campaigns across social platforms, working on brand and media partnerships, newsjacking, copywriting, and email marketing. At Guaranteed Irish she was responsible for executing fully integrated B2B & B2C marketing and comms activity to promote, retain and grow the Guaranteed Irish business membership network through various sector-wide campaigns, social media, regional events, webinars, CSR projects, media & brand partnerships.
Laura also holds a BA in English Literature and History from Trinity College Dublin.

Máire McGrath
Client Executive
Máire joined the Drury team in August 2021 as a Client Executive and works across a range of corporate and public sector clients, supporting on clients including UPS, Amazon Web Services and Irish Life.
As part of the corporate team, Máire’s day-to-day role involves working closely with the team to assist in rolling out client campaigns. Prior to joining Drury, Máire worked at RPS Group and as Account Executive at Jago Communications. Whilst there, she gained valuable experience in social media account management, successful media relations and stakeholder communications across infrastructure, energy and consumer audiences.
Máire holds an MSc in Public Relations and Strategic Communications from Dublin City University and a BA in French and Spanish from Trinity College Dublin.

Morwenna Rice
Director
Morwenna is a Director with more than 13 years’ communications experience in corporate, public information and B2B PR.
Having extensive expertise in developing and delivering communications strategies, Morwenna advises her clients on reputation, issues and crisis management, B2B communications, senior management counsel and public information engagement.
She devises, implements and delivers communications strategies across owned and earned platforms, developing integrated campaigns and multimedia content. Her clients include Science Foundation Ireland, Enterprise Ireland, Cairn Homes plc, the Road Safety Authority and Irish Life.
She has a proven track record in executing effective PR strategies and has been involved in a number of campaigns that have won PRII Awards of Excellence. Morwenna led the Science Week team that won Gold for Smartest Content Strategy category in the An Post Smart Marketing Awards in 2019.
Morwenna is passionate about the importance and role of effective communications in delivering on an organisation’s business objectives. She is a former member of the Public Relations Institute of Ireland’s National Council.
Morwenna holds an honours degree in Geography and Sociology from UCD and a diploma in PR and event management from Fitzwilliam Institute.

Orla Carr
Accounts Assistant
Orla is an Accounts Assistant at Drury, she joined the team in 2019 having previously worked at major multinational corporations including Ixia Technologies and Live Nation Entertainment where she was responsible for credit control and invoicing.
Orla has six years’ experience working in finance across a range of different sectors. This experience has enabled Orla to work with the Drury finance team in accounts receivable and payable, professional fees invoicing and monthly accounts reconciliation.
Her diligence, organisational skills and keen eye for detail ensure Orla consistently delivers precise results in a reliable and efficient manner.
Orla has achieved her Accounting Technician Ireland qualification and is currently pursuing her ACCA qualification. She previously attained a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Business Computing.

Orlaith Sweeney
Finance Manager
Finance manager, Orlaith joined Drury in October 2019 having worked as a financial accountant in the NTMA, ICON plc, AIG and the CIF and is responsible for the daily management of the finance function.
Orlaith has over eight years’ finance experience having worked in a broad range of industries. This experience allows Orlaith to support all areas of the business be it in a commercial or financial capacity.
Her attention to detail and communication skills effectively enables her to deliver accurate results each month.
She is an avid Dublin GAA fan and can be seen travelling to all corners of the world during her time out.
Orlaith pursued her studies through DBS and is ACCA qualified.

Paddy Hughes
Executive Director
With three decades’ experience in corporate and financial public relations, Paddy Hughes has advised and worked with the boards and senior leadership teams of foremost national and multinational companies across a range of sectors. He advises clients in relation to a broad range of corporate reputation related activity specialising in C-Suite Counsel, Financials Situations, Restructuring, Litigation and Crisis Management. He does so, collaboratively with clients, to develop strategies that are executed in a planned and integrated manner across traditional, digital and social channels.
In recent years Paddy has worked with the Boards and leadership teams of clients such as: Applegreen Plc, Aurivo, ESB Group, FBD Insurance, Henkel, Irish Cement, John Paul Construction, Kerry Co-Op, Ornua, McCauley Pharmacy Group, Sisk Group and Tourism Ireland.
Having worked for a number of years as press officer with a major multinational, Paddy joined Drury in 1996 and was appointed to its Board in 2005. In past years, Paddy has led the firm’s corporate communications practice and has led the firm on a number of occasions as Managing Director in an acting capacity. In August 2020, Paddy along with the firm’s Managing Director, Chairperson and Finance Director undertook an MBO of the business, acquiring Drury from Omnicom, the global marketing communications agency. Paddy is a former board director of the Public Relations Consultants Association, a Fellow and former President of the Public Relations Institute of Ireland (PRII).

Paul Clifford
Client Manager
Paul joined Drury in May 2018 following graduation from Dublin Institute of Technology with a Master’s degree in Public Relations and is a Client Manager on the corporate and financial team.
Paul specialises in media relations and digital communications, providing his clients with strategic advice to maintain and enhance their reputations. In his time at Drury, Paul has advised clients on major financial transactions, complex issues and significant reputational threats while also delivering proactive advice that contribute to their overall business goals.
Working with a diverse mix of clients, Paul advises them on both social and traditional media strategy, campaign planning and execution, as well as the day-to-day issues that they are facing.
Paul advises a number of Drury’s key clients including Amazon Web Services, Flutter Entertainment plc (formerly Paddy Power Betfair plc), Greencore Group plc, ESB Group, Enterprise Ireland, FBD Insurance plc and Science Foundation Ireland.
He also holds a BA in English and History from the University of Limerick.

Rachel Kilbane
Content and PR Executive
Rachel joined the Drury team in April 2022 as a content, social media and PR executive where she works on B2C and lifestyle activity with clients such as Beiersdorf, Nivea and Eucerin. A Dublin native, Rachel completed a BA in Journalism at DCU and is currently finishing an MSc of Public Relations and Strategic Communication, also at DCU.
Rachel is a digi-fan who always sees the value in the incorporation of social into communications campaigns. She spends her spare time scrolling Instagram and TikTok feeds to spot the latest influencers and trends, her favourite content includes lifestyle, beauty and environmental activism.

Rob Hanly
Director
Rob joined Drury in 2015 having worked as a Corporate Affairs Consultant for top 10 UK PR firm MHP Communications in London and then as Public Affairs Manager for Newham Council, London.
Rob manages the public affairs and corporate communications and stakeholder engagement and digital activities for clients in numerous sectors including infrastructure, housing, tech and energy.
Rob has significant experience of preparing and implementing communications and public affairs strategies and plans and advising on ongoing communications issues and crises for clients.
Rob advises clients on managing their online reputation and presence beyond traditional media, working with clients to support them in delivering their messages across all channels including creating engaging content for digital and social channels.
Rob has over ten years’ experience of advising on the built environment, place-making and significant development projects. Rob currently works across a range of clients including Amazon Web Services, Netflix, Workhuman, Global Student Accommodation, ESB and the National Concert Hall.
Rob holds an MA in Public Affairs and Political Communication from DIT and a BA in English and History from UCD.

Sinead Birt
Finance Director
Sinead has over 20 years finance and commercial leadership expertise. Prior to joining Drury in 2007, Sinead held finance positions in the banking and energy sectors in Ireland. Sinead is the Finance director, and Company secretary along with oversight of the support services of the business including IT and HR.
Sinead’s understanding of the role of communications in business makes her a valued support to our clients as well as guaranteeing the excellent financial performance of Drury.
Sinead holds a BSc in Finance from Queens University Belfast, is ACCA qualified and a fellow member of the ACCA. Sinead holds a Certificate in the Chartered Director Program with the Institute of Directors and is a Non-Executive board member of the Irish Nutrition and Dietetic Institute. Sinead is a member of the management team that completed the MBO of Drury in 2020.

Tina Leonard
Tina Leonard
Tina Leonard has over two decades experience in influencing through building evidence, awareness, brand, and reputation. Known for communicating complex issues simply to a variety of audiences, she brings her rich and varied experiences to each project.
Tina joined Drury in 2021 from the Alzheimer Society of Ireland where she led the advocacy and public affairs work for eight years.
Prior to that Tina fine-tuned her communications expertise while working as Ireland’s leading and most popular consumer affairs journalist and commentator across RTÉ Radio, TV, the Irish Independent and other titles.
A published author, she was previously Executive Director of Ireland’s European Consumer Centre. A former member of the Board of the National Consumer Agency, Tina currently serves on the Board of the Citizens Information Board and on the Central Bank’s Consumer Advisory Committee. Tina is a member of the European Institute of Public Relations and a graduate of both TCD and UCD.

Nicola Kavanagh
HR & Engagement Director
Nicola joined Drury as HR Engagement Director in January 2022. This is a stand alone HR role where Nicola works alongside both the EXCO and Leadership team and acts as a support function to the wider business, encompassing all areas of HR.
HR professional for the past with 14 years with experience across recruitment and selection, talent management, succession planning, performance management, HR strategy, project management, learning and development, employee wellbeing, coaching, employee relations and team leadership. Building her skills initially in financial services in Jersey Channel Islands across retail and private banking roles for 11 years. Working in the financial services and HR arena Nicola had the opportunity to work with high level organisations including Lloyd's TSB Jersey Channel Islands, RBC jersey Channel Islands, State Street, Irish Life, Standard Life, Trinity College and Cantor Fitzgearld Dublin. Nicola has a deep interest in employee wellbeing, learning and development and coaching. Nicola believes an effective HR Business Partner requires close collaboration with key personnel within a business, and a deep understanding of a business operations future ambitions.
Nicola has a background in alternative and holistic therapies and this area is a huge passion of hers.
